Warming Centres in Niagara

In response to people experiencing homelessness, Niagara Region Transit is working together with Niagara's social services to provide free transportation on conventional route buses in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, and Welland to designated Warming Centres.

Warming Centres are prompted by a cold advisory issued by Environment Canada. On days the temperatures are forecasted to reach -15°C (5°F) or colder, or when wind chill is forecasted to drop to or below -20°C (-4°F), a cold advisory is issued.

Below is an interactive map showing warming centre locations across Niagara. Each pin offers more information, such as open hours and directions.
