Warming Centres in Niagara

Niagara Transit offers free rides to designated warming centres in Niagara when Environment Canada issues a cold weather advisory.

This is only in effect when Environment Canada issues a cold weather advisory. A cold weather advisory is triggered when the temperature is forecasted to reach -15°C (5°F) or colder or when the wind chill is expected to fall to -20°C (-4°F) or below.

During these extreme cold events, the following facilities welcome all members of the public during their regular business hours to warm up.

If you require support or services related to homelessness, please call 211 and ask for a connection to Niagara Assertive Street Outreach (NASO) or consult the list of additional local support agencies.
