Potential Service Disruptions Due to Voyago Labour Negotiations
Niagara Transit is aware that Voyago, our contracted service provider for Specialized Transit and Microtransit, is currently engaged in labour negotiations with their union, ATU Local 846. While these negotiations are between Voyago and their union, we understand that a potential strike could impact the services they provide to our riders.
What This Means for You:
If a strike occurs, services provided by Voyago may experience delays, cancellations, or be suspended until a resolution is achieved.
Affected Services:
- Intermunicipal Transit (cross-boundary) Specialized and Microtransit
- Fort Erie – Microtransit and Specialized Transit
- Lincoln, Grimsby, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Pelham, Port Colborne, Wainfleet, West Lincoln – local Microtransit within these communities
Services Not Affected:
- Conventional transit services (local and intermunicipal)
- Specialized Transit services in Welland, Niagara Falls, St. Catharines
- Microtransit services in Welland
