Niagara Transit Summer Schedule Updates
As we transition into the summer months, Niagara Transit is implementing schedule changes across various routes to serve our riders better. Below is a detailed summary of route adjustments effective through the summer.
Niagara Falls
Route 104/204
Starting June 15, Routes 104 and 204 will use Ellen Avenue between Walnut Street and Victoria Avenue. Please adjust your travel plans accordingly to accommodate this route modification.
Welland
There will be no schedule changes during the summer period. Service continues as normal.
Intermunicipal Transit
Several seasonal adjustments will take place:
Route 34
Service concludes for the season on April 30 and will resume in September.
Routes 40/40A/40B and 45/45A/45B
Summer service begins on May 1 and operates daily until approximately 7:00 p.m.
Route 25 Southbound
Starting May 1, this route will streamline its path to avoid unnecessary looping south of City Hall. It will now travel via King Street, turn right on Clarence Street, turn left on Catherine Street, and turn left again on Charlotte Street.
St. Catharines and Thorold
Several updates are planned for these areas:
Route 321
Begins summer scheduling on May 1, resulting in the suspension of Route 421 for the summer months.
Brock University Routes:
Summer service starts on April 28 and concludes on July 18, including the weekday evening Route 435.
Check your route page for summer updates.
Please note that Route 435 will not operate on Saturdays or Sundays during the summer.
Brock University Student Union (BUSU) has funded special Saturday services to accommodate exams on June 7, July 19, and August 30.
Route 305
Effective immediately, stop 312 at Linwell Road and Ontario Street will no longer serve inbound trips.
