Niagara Transit Commission Launches New Niagara Transit Brand, "We're Going Your Way"

The Niagara Transit Commission is pleased to announce the official launch of its new, unified Niagara Transit brand, a key step in creating a more connected Niagara. The rebranding project is an important step in unifying transit service across the region, replacing the legacy brands of the former Niagara Region Transit, Niagara Falls Transit, St. Catharines Transit, Welland Transit, and Fort Erie Transit.

Developed with community input through workshops and a public survey, the new brand’s visual identity reflects the Niagara community. Designed by HDR Inc., it features a distinctive "NT" icon symbolizing Niagara’s waterways, including the Great Lakes, Niagara Falls, and the Niagara River, with a vibrant colour palette inspired by the region's natural beauty. This launch reflects Niagara Transit’s commitment to providing safe, reliable, and sustainable transit, offering riders freedom, independence, and a chance to discover our region. We're excited to be 'going your way' with this new brand, connecting residents and visitors to all the amazing things Niagara offers.

The Niagara Transit brand rollout has begun and will continue to be phased in over the coming years. By introducing the new branding gradually, as new buses, signage, and other assets are replaced, Niagara Transit will minimize spending and maximize the value of existing infrastructure, maintaining reliable and affordable transportation throughout the transition.

Reflecting Niagara Transit’s dedication to connecting people to the places that matter most—schools, jobs, cultural destinations, and more—this new brand supports an exciting future for transit in the Niagara Region.
