Niagara Transit is implementing a change to our online booking process. Beginning March 31st, riders can make reservations for our Microtransit and Specialized transit services starting at 7:00 a.m., rather than the previous midnight opening time.
What's Changing
This update affects all online bookings made through:
- The Niagara Transit Plus app
- The Niagara Transit Plus website
Why We're Making This Change
This adjustment creates a more equitable experience for all community members. By aligning booking times with our dispatch and booking agent hours, we ensure:
- Fair access for everyone, regardless of ability
- Consistent service standards across all transit options
- Compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), which requires transit agencies to provide equal customer service to all users
What This Means For You
- Online bookings will now open at 7:00 a.m.
- This applies to both Microtransit and Specialized transit services
- All other service features remain unchanged

Getting started:
- Download the Niagara Transit Plus app on your mobile device or go to the website on your desktop
- Create an account or sign in to your current account
- Add the pick-up and drop-off location.
- Proceed to payment.
