Niagara Region Transit undergoing transition period for updated fare structure starting Jan. 1
Niagara Region Transit is busy getting ready to roll out its upcoming changes to a new consolidated transit system in Niagara, starting Jan. 1, 2023. Leading up to the new consolidated transit system, a transitional period is needed to align transit fares.
Niagara Regional Council approves creation of Niagara transit commission and selection of board
History was made on May 26, 2022, with the creation of the Niagara Transit Commission, which will bring the operation of public transit in Niagara into one organization.
